  • Relational Relationship is the end result of nurturing of bonds or connections between a student and teacher that allows such 

     

    student to positively complete academic tasks and adhere to directions/re-directions. Without such a relationship with a teacher, students who exhibit challenging behaviors are often ignored, do not feel welcomed and being absent from class is seen as a relief by their teachers.

Relational Relationship -Student and Teacher

    Interactional Relationship is a relationship between a teacher and a student that is almost always based on a request to complete tasks, follow commands or directives. For most students and teachers, interactional relationships reinforce established norms and routines.
